When I started trying to promote my own artwork online I kept coming across other people's art that amazed or compelled me in one way or another. This blog has been a way for me to practice thinking and writing about art, as well as learning more about my peers and all the incredible art that is being made out there.

Alastair Heseltine

I wanted to break up the monotony of figurative painting (I'll be back to it soon enough).
I first saw this guy's woodpile on a blog by Carson Ellis, One of my earliest posted artists. That woodpile is really really cool (That's non-art lingo for "ironic juxtaposition of media and subject matter creating a tension between process and content." Ha.)
